Baton
Rouge, LA (December 8, 2015)…The Ultimate Louisiana Party is
pleased to announce a series of Mardi Gras dates for 2016. The 3rd
Annual Ultimate Louisiana Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Festival will have
an Opening Reception and Fundraiser, on Thursday, February 4, 2016,
from 7:00pm to midnight, at the Belle of Baton Rouge Casino and
Hotel, in Henry Turner, Jr.s’ Listening Room, in the Atrium’s Bar
102. The venue is located at 102 France Street, Baton Rouge, LA
70802.
The Baton Rouge Mardi Gras
Festival Party will be held at North Boulevard Town Square on the
Galvez Stage on Saturday, February 6 from 10:00am to 6:00pm. The
venue address is 200 North Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70801.
Headliner is Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor. The event is family
friendly and also features a vendor village, visual artists and
festival food favorites. VIP tickets for a ‘Taste of Louisiana’
meals are $25.00. Lawn seating, so feel free to bring you own chairs.

The Ultimate Louisiana Party Mardi
Gras Events scheduled for New Orleans are on Sunday, February 7 a
Mardi Gras Marketplace from 12 noon to 10:00pm. Monday, February 8
is Lundi Gras in The Treme from 4:00pm to midnight and Tuesday,
February 9 from 10am to midnight is Fat Tuesday featuring a tribute
to Ernie and Antoinette K-Doe. These events are held at the Cutting
Edge Side Yard, located at 1520 N. Claiborne Avenue, New Orleans, LA
70116, and have two stages of live entertainment, vendors, visual
artists and festival food favorites. Tickets are $10.00 for adults,
$5.00 for children 2 to twelve. Children under 2 are free. For

Headliner for the shows is Henry
Turner Jr. & Flavor, who are well-known for their Louisiana style
of Reggae, Blues, Soul and Funk. The band is Henry Turner Jr. on
guitar and vocals, Keith Lewis on drums, Patrick Joffrion and or LZ
Dillon on bass, Larry Bradford on percussion, with background
vocalist Jenessa Nelson. Some of the bands fan favorites include “2
Many Women,” “Ugly Man” and “I Might Just Let You Go,” and
a special rendition of their “Happy Mardi Gras” song.
Some of the past performers at the
Baton Rouge Mardi Gras Ultimate Louisiana Party include New Orleans
Bluesman Carlo Ditta, the world famous Wild Mohican Mardi Gras
Indians, Smokehouse Porter, Jonathon “Boogie” Long, Jamaican
Reggae vocalist, Jah Niceness, guitar legend Ernie Vincent and R&B
Singer Lelani. Past performers at other events around the country
include Universal Music Group’s Brett Barrow, singer and guitarist
Jackie Venson, jazz singer Donna Scott, the rock group Kalila, New
York City blues band Brewster Moonface, The Hot Attacks, Sally on the
Side and American Idol contestant Mikey Duran.
The Ultimate Louisiana
Party concept was created in 2011 by Henry Turner Jr. These
family-friendly events give musicians a place to showcase their
music, songs, spoken word and visual arts. Since its inception,
parties have been held in Texas, Arizona, California, Oregon, Utah,
Idaho and Washington State. The ever growing celebrations are now
evolving into three day festivals with local, regional, national and
international performances.
